Am I overreacting to this bad service?

I’ve just done bullet point as it’s so long. I’m going from brunette to blonde and this was everything that went wrong at the hairdressers

• Double booked my appointment (2 months I booked in advance) and only told me a week before.

• Changed the day and then cancelled again and reverted back to original day but at 5pm
• Said I can do this but is he ok working until 11/12pm. He said he was but yet still moaned throughout appointment how tired he was and wish he hadn’t taken me on as a client.

• Took a nap whilst my hair was processing

• He ended up charging me almost double the estimated price

• I didn’t like the result (knew it would take another round of lightening) and I was honest but in a polite way.

• Said we can keep trying and will message me the next day to book me in - which he didn’t bother to do.

• Messaged me today to say he’s dropping me as a client as it’s “more stress than it’s worth”

• I’ve been left almost £300 out of pocket for this, with a colour I despise which I’m too afraid to do anything with right now as I can’t bleach it again so soon.

He clearly is incapable of getting the colour I want yet which I wish he would have just told me before I committed to this.

YANBU OP I would complain to the salon.

They should offer for another stylist there to continue with your next appointment, at a discounted rate or a free treatment thrown in perhaps.

If the salon don’t rectify it post public reviews, it’ll put a lot of people off, especially if you include photos

I don’t know if the salon will do anything because he only rents a chair there so the owner doesn’t actually pay him. They might care as it doesn’t reflect great on the salon itself.

Tried to email but it bounced right back as unknown address.

Omg. Does he have a personal Instagram page. If so post what's happened on there tagging him in it.
