yabu - suck it up and just carry on as you are

Whether he's "better off" than you is irrelevant, he might have a lot of wealth but not be earning much. If you think he's not paying the legal minumum then get the CMS involved.

In this instance this is why I like using cms as it’s mostly kept up to date and fair to earnings

Just go through the CMS, use the 2nd option which costs a £20 admin fee and they recalculate how much he should pay each year. He sets up a standing order and jobs done. If he does not agree then you go for the third option which costs a small % but they collect it each month.

So? If you had the money you could take her places. Go to CMS for a proper calculation.
