AIBU to LTB over this? (Lighthearted)

I had a baby a week ago. A few days ago, DH did an online food shop and asked if I wanted anything. I said I’d like some Guylian Shells and he said “oh, I just clicked to save the shop” and I said “oh, sorry” but I assumed he’d just go back to add them to the shop. Food arrived and no shells! He explained that he thought we’d both understood that he hadn’t ordered them.

Today we ran out of milk so DH popped to the shop. He asked if I wanted anything and I said the shells. He came back and said they were too expensive (£4.50) so he decided not to get them.

I literally gave him the gift of a child a week ago and the man won’t even get me £4.50 chocolates. WIBU to LTB now?

Yep LTB. Also aldi or lidl do a version and I think they taste exactly the same, just a bit cheaper!

PoseyFlump · 30/07/2022 22:43

No don't throw him out just yet. There's nappies to change!

Ontomatopea · 30/07/2022 22:44

Has he not got you any treats or anything since baby was here?! You need chocolate!

I know you said this is lighthearted but this kind of bumbling ineptitude meets decision making on your behalf would drive me absolutely fucking bananas

Tothemoonandbackx · 31/07/2022 11:25

Next time he asks you for something.......you know exactly what to do 😂😂

Same. I hate this shit. So what if it’s £4.50? Just get them! I’m sure he’s bought other items for £4.50 that will benefit him or that you’ll both eat and shit out later just like the chocolates. Get the item for your wife!

Definitely LTB!! You gave birth to his baby a week ago and he thinks £4.50 for a box of chocolates you're craving is too expensive?!!

Tight man!!!
