What would you expect to be the resolution here?

Ordered a small clothing bundle from a seller on FB, they have a physical stall but posted for me.
Sale items. One listed as a size L.

I've lost weight recently and donated all my XL clothes to buy size M.

So buy several M items but really like this size L Tshirt so figure I can wear it baggy.

Bundle arrives today. Tshirt is huge. Look at label it's an XL.

I check the FB post photo. Definitely says L.

I message seller and say items have arrived, very happy but I think you've sent the wrong size Tshirt. I ordered a L, you've sent XL.

She said 'teal it's a small XL so I listed it as a L'

I explain I'm a size M, and chanced the L as a baggy fit but it's definitely not a small XL, it's huge on me!

She's read over an hour ago but not responded.

Thing is it was only a £5 Tshirt so if I pay to send it back that's pretty much my refund gone?

Should I ask to be refunded plus postage costs if I return?

I definitely wouldny have bought it if she said XL, I've just donated /sold a load of XL!

I know it's only a fiver but it's more the principle and the fact the whole point was the get smaller clothes now that fit!

I get it. I’ve recently lost a lot of weight and got a little more to go. I’m in medium size clothes now and just got rid of all my xl and xxl clothes last week with a view to never wearing that size again. I’d absorb the loss honestly and maybe wear it as a pj top or could you style it with a belt or knotted?

I think that's what's annoying me. It felt good to ditch all my XL stuff, I didn't want more of it.

I could wear it to bed but I'd rather return it.
I mean she mislabelled the size.
If she would have said size XL but fits more like an L I wouldn't have bought.

And besides even an L would have been too big!

It has been mis-sold so I think it's fair enough to ask for a refund. If she will not give one or pay for postage then I would raise it with eBay and let them decide what's fair. It's the principal rather than the value I think.

If it doesn’t fit, then yes you should ask for your money back as it’s been incorrectly sold.

I’m a size M and bought a coat from eBay last year that was advertised as an M. When it arrived it was very snug - I could do it up but it really was snug - checking the label I saw it was a size Small so I contacted the seller who acknowledged she’d made a mistake - I sent it back and got a full refund so this is what you should get from your seller.

It wasn’t the size as such for me, but if it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit and if it’s been inaccurately advertised then £5 or £50 you should get a refund.

For £5 I wouldn't care. Can't you just resell it? That's the risk with second hand stuff

They're sale items but new. And who has £5 to just discard these days?

Non of her items are used. It's all new.

And its not the fact that it doesn't fit because of the manufacturers, it doesn't fit because she listed the size wrong
