Yes, I had just learned a new word, I stated that in my OP. When I posted it though it was in the back of another thread (also mentioned in the OP) which people had been discussing all things strange - so related.

Of course it's purile, I posted it for a laugh on a day where many laughs were had about odd little things people do.

There isn't really an AIBU, like the majority of posted on this board though, so I don't particularly care about that.
