Sorry if the wrong topic. I wanted a collective input and there seems to be the most traffic on here.
We've just moved house (after many many years of trying) which is exciting however I now have a room filled with boxes to unpack and a bit of an unpacking block as to where things should go.
There are 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog.
If I list the spaces/cupboards we have in the house I was hoping some mumsnetters more organised than me can give me some tips before I turn this house into a complete mess?
we have:
utility - space for washer & dryer one large empty cupboard with no shelves (used to be a dishwasher) and about 3 wall cupboards.
kitchen - I have units on two walls one wall where the fridge freezer is and opposite wall where cooker and oven are both sides have 5 cupboards plus 4 drawers on each side too the cooker side also has some deep wide drawers I have used for pans.
we have an under the stairs cupboards - what goes in there?!
Any tips and advice about general unpacking would be super appreciated as I am really overwhelmed.
