Dying hair during first trimester?

I dyed my hair without thinking and I’m in my first trimester! Has anyone else done this? Kicking myself but I didn’t think and afterward have read of risks

Hey, the NHS says that it's fairly safe.

Yeah midwife literally didn’t bat an eye lid when I asked about this. It’s pretty safe now

Phew. There’s just so much out there about waiting until the second trimester. I guess it’s done now anyway, just wondering whether it’s the norm to dye now or hold off until the second trimester

I've not heard of that, what's the risk? Is it something recent, no one ever told me not to do that when I was pregnant

Nhs says some women may wish to wait until after the 1st trimester but doesn't actually say its a risk
