Dizziness in 2ww?

Wouldloveanother · 27/07/2022 16:37

the last few months I’ve been getting a lot of dizziness in the 2ww. It starts at around 7dpo and sticks around until my period. It’s the sort of dizziness that happens when you stand up.

does anyone else get this? Or does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

thanks! 😊

Low blood pressure would be my first thought.

Wouldn’t that be full time dizziness, rather than specifically the week before my period? If you see what I mean.

PMS symptoms. I get it every month - dizziness so bad I have to spend 2 days on the sofa. It’s the fluctuating hormones before your period starts. Very common.

Estrogen levels are higher during the week before your period, which can lower your blood pressure and cause dizziness.

Ah, mystery (probably) solved. Thank you! I’ll admit I’m trying to work out of the presence of dizziness means I haven’t conceived 😬

Dizziness even whilst sitting/lying down has given me the indicator to do a pg test for 4 pregnancies. 2 of which were total surprises and I wouldn’t have tested otherwise!! Good luck
