To leave DS until morning with a poorly knee

So yesterday my DS (4) woke up saying his knee hurt and wouldn't put any weight on it. Within a couple of hours it was all forgotten about and ok. This morning he woke the same but it hasn't eased off all day. He tries to put weight on it when asked but says it hurts too much, limping even when he doesn't know he is being watched. He isn't in pain when just sitting.
My AIBU is to wait until tomorrow to see how it is rather than A&E tonight.

Just to clarify, our minor injuries don't do much for children including no x-rays so that isn't an option. I could call 111 but not sure if that is the right either

When my 2 year old had hip pain I thought I was over reacting taking him to gp. Was told to urgently take him to a&e for him to be tested for septic arthritis. We ended up being kept in for a joint infection. Think 111 would be wise but be prepared to be told a&e

Thank you Tigger83. How long did he have the hip paid for?

Having worked in A&E for years, I’d agree and go first thing tomorrow morning. Only because if he’s well in himself anything medical and the croupy kids etc come first and staffing is always lower in the evening, mornings are always better staffed and if X-rays etc are needed, it’s staffed better and you get through much quicker.

It started in the morning then couldn't weight bear on it by the afternoon when I took him to gp.... hope all is well?!
