What sort of work could I be looking at with these qualifications?

A languages Degree and secondary PGCE are what I already have, and looking to undertake an MA in Education (possibly in TESOL or Educational leadership specifically)
I have work experience in MFL teaching, TEFL teaching, SEND work and also health and social care work.
I'd be interested in working in universities but it seems posts are few and far between? FE lecturer is something I'm also interested in.

I'm not interested in continuing as a secondary Education teacher or TA really

I’m guessing you don’t want to teach…? Even in a more specialist setting? (With EAL students? Prisons? Hospital? PRU?)

Tutoring? Some kind of support work (through CAB / refugee council / something similar?)

If you speak the languages fluently, and depending on which languages they are (e.g. big demand for German), you could look for work using those languages. Depending on your location, there's often entry-level positions in areas like customer service, finance, HR etc. for people with language skills. Best bet would be to contact a recruitment agency, stress your language skills and see what they say.

In general, if you're not interested in teaching, is an MA in education the best choice?

I'm not sure to what extend I'd count on the TEFL route, job security or salaries in that area isn't great, even at universities, unless you plan on going down the academic route/PhD etc. and even then I think full-time posts are very hard to come by).

Thanks for your help. I'd like to teach at University level or FE college at least rather than high school, or even work as a Teaching Assistant at University level.
Or achieve a more senior position within a school.
I am working in TEFL over the summer, £13 per hour so not great

Would you be interested in teaching in prison? The prison education providers are always looking for good tutors and your language skills would be useful as well.

University Careers Consultants often do bits of teaching. They're paid a lecturers salary too in most places.
You can do an MA in Career Development but some universities will appoint without the qualification- but you've more chance of employment with it!

I wouldn't bother doing an MA if you have to pay for it and then get a (relatively) low paid role
I have done some of the roles you have thought about without an MA:
EAL at a college (16+)
EAL in a prison
