Went into town today and was lured into the outdoor supermarket plant section by some really nice reduced price plants. All healthy, less than half price etc. Only about 4 plants.
Had to get to an appointment so no time to buy them there and then. Hoped they’d be there on my return half an hour later.
Of course, they were gone when I got back. Or SO I THOUGHT…
They’d actually been hidden in the staff storage area where they keep brushes/watering cans etc. In plain sight but obviously not on the shelf with the other plants. They’d been cherry picked by the member of staff who was kind of lurking about “protecting” them. All the totally dead ones were left out of course. I was so irrationally annoyed!
DH says I should have just gone and taken them, I felt that was kind of mean. Like maybe that’s one of the perks of her job and she’s as entitled to them as I am. I don’t know why but I am kicking myself now! FIL says I should have asked for help to reach them 😂
