Looking for last minute getaway with my 11 year old. Will be first 2 week trip without DP as we couldn't synchronise weeks off. I feel drawn to parks (Lake District) for a pool and chance for DS to maybe meet other kids. Reviews are putting me off a bit. We are usually cottage in Devon/Cornwall with dog type scenarios. No dog this time. YABU- it'll be fab, ignore reviews. YANBU - you'd rather fry in the bowels of hell.
