Anyone got any thoughts?

Can't get out to try so will need to order online with a leap of faith

Like firm but not too firm as DP has bad back and very hard makes it worse

I like the hybrid mattresses, especially the memory foam ones, mine is from Shires & it is the best mattress I have ever had.

Are pocket sprung and natural fibre mutually exclusive?

I thought pocket sprung meant (literally) that the springs were in pockets which were made from stiffened material sewn together in alternating layers so when you pull them into a 3D structure it makes a honeycomb shape like those papers decorations.

And then the stuffing is what they stuff around and on top of the springs?

I feel like I watched a random TV documentary about mattress making to know this...

Ohh thanksnguys.

We have an Emma mattress which has given my husband a bad back.

Was thinking pocket sprung has springs

The natural fibre i meant only coir / wool / latex etc - no springs

Mine is sprung memory foam, it may be that the Emma mattress is too hard or too soft, have you looked anywhere like Benson's for Beds or Dreams where you can try mattresses before you buy?
