Tape hair extensions slipped out, anyone had them?

I'd only had them in for 10 days but yesterday one piece fell out. I put my hands through my hair and a few were hanging by a thread, i gently moved them and they came out. I can't afford to have them all removed/refitted so I have now taken them all out myself, which only needed a bit of conditioner/oil to lubricate it.

I'm disappointed as I paid a lot of money for this hair. I really liked the tape initially as it was pain free to apply, I usually have LA weaves but I find the application of it painful, however it stays in very securely for weeks.

I followed the aftercare with the tapes, I spent £200 on the hair and I'm really disappointed.

I don't think I could sell the hair on or anything now as it's been cut to fit my short hair. I could possibly get it refitted at a high quality salon but I'm scared to spend a lot of money only for it to not stay on again

That is very disappointing considering the cost - if you hadn’t taken them all out do you think the salon would have just put the original back in on Monday?

I got nano-rings on Friday and it cost £400 to give you a comparison. I do recommend them.

That should not happen. Did you have conditioner in your hair when they were fitted ? Hair needs to not have conditioner. I would call the salon and complain. Maybe they didn't use good tape to put them in. Mine never came out and were difficult to remove too. They'd need to be soaked in a special liquid ( after around 8 weeks of being in !! ) and then loosened with one of those combs with a long metal stick.. it's unacceptable that they fell out so quickly !

You need to complain asap !
