Or their tv shows.
or their you tube clips.
Or their children’s tv shoes…
get some headphones for gods sake!!
I do not want to listen to whatever drivel your 7 year old is watching on the iPad on a public train!!

I'm with on this. Particularly hideous on long train journeys. Get some headphones!

AuntieN · 24/07/2022 17:37

Me too. I commute daily on the train and it drives me mad. Seems to be a quite recent phenomenon…

Tayegete · 24/07/2022 17:37

The worst is the ones who FaceTime someone without headphones - sometimes right in front of you at the till whilst they are being served

Beetlewings · 24/07/2022 17:37

And gardens!

Greenandcabbagelooking · 24/07/2022 17:40

YANBU.

Some people here like to share thier music with the whole road by playing it through portable speakers as they walk along the street. Get some headphones, you utter arsewipe.

embolass · 24/07/2022 17:41

Yip back gardens! Don’t want to hear your phone in, rubbish taste in music or inane chat. Turn it down or wear headphones. So selfish

avocadotofu · 24/07/2022 17:41

I'm absolutely with you. It really annoys me!

Smartiepants79 · 24/07/2022 17:41

I’m not so bothered about gardens asking as it’s at a reasonable level.
That is their private space so a bit different in my eyes.

Recently we were at the pool on holidays. Everyone was nicely relaxed and enjoying the sunshine. Suddenly we heard this very loud music. First of all l thought the hotel people has decided to pipe out loud music. Then l realised a couple who had just arrived were listening to music with no headphones. It was very loud. We complained to the bar guy and he very nicely asked them to use headphones and they were so rude and started saying.. l didn't think anyone minded and what harm is it etc. So annoying.
I won't talk about how loudly he coached her swimming stroke in the pool..every time.. for ages!!

Oh this is the one that really winds me up. It's very rare I've encountered the archetypal MN Peppa Pig blaring toddler - the kids usually have headphones on... it's generally women in their 20s/early 30s either having face time conversations on the phone or watching shit on TikTok through the speakers.
