To ask about eyelash perming for my wonky eyelashes?

I have long eyelashes, which in theory should be lovely, but unfortunately some of them have grown poker straight, or even curled downwards rather than upwards , and because they are long they are really noticeable, particularly with mascara on! I use an eyelash curler, but they just refuse to behave, and then I end up risking stabbing my self in the eye by pulling them out with a pair of tweezers! Has anyone done eyelash perming, & can tell me if that would work, & how long it would last for? Would you recommend it? TIA

Yes I think it could work. It will depend where the kinks are though.
I loved my permed eyelashes.

My eyelashes sound very similar to yours, and mine look great after having a lash lift. However, it does only seem to last around 3 weeks before it becomes obvious that they've started growing straight again

My lash lift gave good results but only lasted for a few weeks. Mine are very straight naturally. I haven’t had it done again because I just haven’t been arsed, I have read that subsequent lifts do last a bit longer than the first though.

Thanks, people - is a ‘lift’ the same as a ‘perm’ then? Sorry for being clueless!

Yes, totally recommend. I think calling it a lift is the more modern description, most salons seem to use that now 😊 I like to have mine done every 4 weeks. Any longer than that and they start to go all straight and peculiar again!

It’s great for a holiday but the effect wears off really quickly.

Thank you 🙏🏼

I still have some curl left at the end of mine by 6 weeks and they need doing by 8 weeks. I love LVL it’s great, but it depends on the person who does it. I used to go to someone who over processed them and was really rough so that it was quite uncomfortable.
