To be so frustrated with GP surgery

this is not an NHS bashing and actually I work for the NHS in the same trust as my GP just different area/ role.
back story Is 2 1/2 years ago I needed an urgent operation and an organ removed, within 6 months I started feeling really ill all the time. Blood tests done started in B12 injections, folic acid and vit D- despite this folate and vit D continued to drop and wouldn’t come back up leaving me exhausted all the time. 7 months ago I started having anaphylaxis reactions and after an allergy specialist and extensive testing he feels it’s my body’s way of shutting down as blood levels so low.
while waiting for consultations letter GP refused to do anything in way of further referrals, bloods or stronger meds. They finally got the letter and the receptionist rang and told me I wasn’t needing a face to face appointment and a routine phone call in 3 weeks was fine, I pleaded how rubbish I feel and how scary the anaphylaxis is and she basically said it’s phone call or nothing so I booked it for start of August (first slot)
Tonight I get a voicemail from Gp asking why I hadn’t booked a face to face and to call back asap (6.25pm so now closed) as this needs to be sorted.
I just feel so frustrated and sick of chasing/ arguing and being told a million different things
