Fairly silly thread I know but anyway...

My friend who is a vegan said to me in conversation that if she married in to the royal family, she would use the public platform gained by marrying into the royal family to to promote the benefits of being vegan and encourage others to become vegans.

I pointed out that this would not be allowed and if it happened would go down like a lead balloon.

The royal family wang on about a load of stuff so yes, if she married in I'm sure she'd have plenty of opportunity.

The Royal family has been slimming down for a few decades and Charles has pledged he will cut it to the bone , so its unlikely she would marry someone very high up, and even if your friend did manage to achieve a means of lecturing folk, I doubt they would want to listen.

If she married Andrew then she would get plenty of media attention….. they say all publicity is good publicity and the press would certainly be interested in her.

Not sure it would be a great advert for vegans though, but it would certainly be amusing to see Andrew munching on tofu and making his own oat milk if she could convert him😆
