To cut a long story short (DS2 trying to log into his Xbox account and failing) I believe DH's account (btinternet one if it matters ) has been hacked. When I went to reset password the option to send a code to back up email was a random address with @mailnesia.com at the end of it.
So I'm now in a loop of trying to reset him using my email. I've failed the security check though including supplying a previous password and card details which I'm now thinking is also a scam
I guess my question is - what's mailnesia- he says he's not got a backup account and can get into his email by signing in on the app on his phone fine BUT I can't sign in on a web browser using same password and nor can I reset password
Help!!
