I want to fall down an internet rabbit hole. I had a couple of margaritas last night at a birthday party and feeling it today! I think that the perfect cure would be a takeaway and a little fall down a rabbit hole 🙂

You may have already fallen down these ones but there's the whole trans debate which is a never ending rabbit hole

Scientology is another interesting dive

Watching as I’m sheltering from the heat and recovering from covid and similarly need a rabbit hole

Iammeiamfree · 18/07/2022 12:38

Definitely Davidicke.com- particularly his 'dot-connector' videocasts and interviews with Brian Rose- 10/10

I'm interested in crime and murder and tend to fall down a lot of rabbit holes.

BlueKaftan · 18/07/2022 12:44

European royalty is an interesting rabbit hole, as are society hostesses from the 30s.

I was a bit obsessed with this one if you've not already heard about it

Start with the Jon Ronson article about people going missing from cruise ships. Hours and hours lost to that, it is sad though.

Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. Absolutely love it.
Theres also a Netflix documentary about it

isthismylifenow · 18/07/2022 12:57

TikTok. Keeps me entertained for hours.

(not all of it great, but entertaining nevertheless)

theclangersarecoming · 18/07/2022 12:57

D B Cooper, the mystery plane hijacker. Amazing story and very strange.

if you like reading about weird and tragic, the story of the two Dutch girls who disappeared in Panama - not for the faint-hearted though.

I spent a lot of internet time on the missing Malaysian flight once.

The supposed “Mandela effect”, if you like spooky and off-beam stuff.

Morgellons, delusional parasitises and mass hypnosis if you like medics weirdness. Fascinating!

JustlookingNotbuying · 18/07/2022 12:57

Tik Tok! My 14 year dd got me into it and it’s so interesting. I know, I know! It can be crap and full of teens dancing etc but I follow so many interesting accounts like recipes, travel, history, astronomy, menopause stuff, medical bits and bobs and true life crimes etc.
Dh is a complete technophobe and has zero interest in the internet but is also hooked on Tik Tok, he follows lots of tractor stuff!!

theclangersarecoming · 18/07/2022 12:57

*medical weirdness!

isthismylifenow Saturday night I popped on it for half hour at 9pm and 4 hours later I was still scrolling!

yellowsmileyface · 18/07/2022 13:02

I recently watched the documentary Seduced about the NXIVM cult. That caused me to go down a rabbit hole of reading up about various cults. Fascinating and tragic.

YellowLemonshade · 18/07/2022 13:02

I just came up from one - the human hair trade. How much of it comes from impoverished countries where the workers at the bottom of the supply chain literally collect it from rubbish, discarded combs and drains...
