I've just seen someone on Facebook say that they've sent their kids to bed in damp swimwear to keep them cool tonight. I can't work out if it's a joke but the comments made it appear not. Is that not a bit bonkers?

Any tips on keeping kids cool at night in the heat would be very gratefully received but wet swimsuits...surely not?

put their child in a damp swimsuit in bed what a load crap. TShirt pants and sheet over the top or if you’re like me and my kids a duvet right up to your neck. Winter and summer.

if they kept the room cool all day, curtains closed etc those poor kiddies wouldn’t be sleeping damp

Lovely way to give your kids thrush that. Never advisable to use damp clothing or bedding for sleeping.

I know! I mean I know it's hot but that seems ridiculous
