That makes so many MNers think 40 degrees of heat is no big deal?
I mean maybe not if you can sit meet to a fan tapping a computer, but surely they realise some people have to work outdoors, some people have to do heavy physical jobs, and some people have to do both.
Likening it to a holiday abroad or people living in hot countries who are acclimatised to , and have mitigations against the hear is stupid and arrogant.

Agree It is extreme heat and has triggered a health alert, it is must another hot day. I have to work so will just have to take all usual measures to get by. I do think workplace adaptations need to be made given were possible given it’s probably only two days.
It poses a risk for some categories eg young children/babies , older adult. Extreme heat puts a strain on cardiovascular function as body struggles to cope.
