To wonder if this French villas is too good to be true?

Under 6000 euros for a week in high season for this very swish villa seems almost too good to be true. It seems about half what it should be. Am I being too cynical? They have responded to my enquiry very politely and I have read the about us section and the company name does seem to check out.

Not sure which villa it is you're referring to but the rates, for all three, are per night not per week.

€6000 sounds like a lot to me for a week

The rates are weekly and seem reasonable to me.

I know precisely zero about the price of luxury French villas. We just paid £1500 for a 4 bed in Normandy without pool. Was fine but definitely not luxurious.

Mumsnet has a lot of wealthy posters but I should think not that many who would spend €6000 for 1 week in a villa.

Villa Pearl? I just did a random search on the dates and it’s €1250 a night in august and September. That’s reasonable for the location and standard.

It’s weird that all three villas have prime summer availability under Special Offers.

They are "from" prices so presumably a lot more in peak season.

my friends have a 5 bed villa with pool and tennis courts. We pay £1200 for a week in July. I didn’t realise it was such a bargain 😂

Very cheap. I wouldn’t dream of paying less than 30000 euros a night. Anything less would likely be too scummy for my tastes.

Back in the real world most of us are struggling to pay our gas bill. Piss off with your stealth boasts.

Ask them how you can pay, if it's bank transfer then assume it's a scam?

Just looked at Villa Pearl. It fulfills my pet hate in villas. Lovely bedrooms and lots of them, but not enough seating in the lounge or sunbeds for all those people, or even a dining table with chairs large enough for everyone to sit around.
Realistically with the other facilities you could only have enough people to use three of the six bedrooms. I would rent it if it was priced at a level of a 3 bedroom place, it is not.
There are very good reasons no one has rented it. At that cost you have to have the shared spaces large enough and suitable for everyone to use.
