Dealing with spiders in the house

It doesn't help we have stuff everywhere at the moment (I like to have everything near and boxed up to help) but it's also that time of year and I had a big spider yesterday and another today.

DH removed the one yesterday but today's scuttled behind the drawers in my LO's bedroom. I need to clean up but I don't know if I'll manage now as I won't want to be rummaging around on the floor and in toy boxes but I did do well (for me) in that I continued to dress LO on the floor knowing there was a spider on the floor somewhere.

I'd love for them to just be gone though!

Loads of spiders in our house. I just leave them alone and they leave us alone. Better than having loads of flies I suppose.

Yeah I want to get to a point where I can sort of ignore then

the way I used to be was I'd not be able to relax knowing I'd seen one

i can still be like that sometimes

i think it's the thought of one scuttling out when I'm not expecting it and touching me (if I had to put it into words)

Not much use right now, but I read somewhere (Probably MN) that conkers keep spiders at bay. I have them hidden in corners of each room and we hardly get any now.
