There's two of us at work we both do the same work more or less. In theory I'm the more technical and I get all the international deals because I speak several languages. Our manager have me most of the strategic and enterprise accounts and my colleague got a bigger slice of the mid market ones. Ironically, that sector has been more active and she's way busier than me. I also just set up the stepping stones for a partnership that will make our company save and bring revenue in the millions (long term). However I still feel low because I'm not as busy and I don't get as much positive feedback from my colleagues for the simple reason that I don't work with them. I know it's silly but that's how I feel :(

Just speaking several languages puts you so far out in front in many professions! Please don’t continue any further down this road of self hatred. Treat yourself better than knocking your considerable achievements. There’s a lot of great information out there about being kind to ourselves.

I know I'm on the same level (if not better) professionally it's just the lack of positive feedback that gets me.
