Currently dealing with child maintenance service, set it up a year ago. At first it was direct pay and I received one payment from him of £28. Then he stopped paying and it went to collect and pay, he still didn’t pay, so went it to be taken directly from his benefits which I received one payment in March. Fast forward to now CMS have said I’ll get £0 due to the fact they can’t find his address. He’s told me he works full time so I should be getting £200+. As a single parent I’m really struggling with the cost of living and nursery fees and this is just taking the piss. Surely they can get his address through hmrc?? It doesn’t look like they’re even trying to take action
