My active still looks like your first picture. But my watching and I'm on threads are like your second. I'm not keen as I can't tell the title from the comments.

What I like that changed over the past couple days is the quote feature not compressed to the latest comment and doesn't display ALL of the quoted comments chain unless you expand.
