Small powerful vacuum cleaner

We have a Henry. It feels bulky and so we don’t vacuum as often. So I bought a dyson hand held. This too doesn’t get used daily as it doesn’t have the battery power to do the whole house plus the suction isn’t great.

any recommendations for a small powerful vacuum cleaner please?

Also, any recommendations for a GOOD mop ?

For non carpet floors I love my Miele but it feels like a workout on carpets. I also have a Shark, brilliant on carpet but it's a big upright one.

I bought a steam mop, absolutely love it.

I love my vax powerblade, battery lasts 45 minutes and we have a second one as back up.

If you like Numatic, James in the Henry line is specifically designed to be smaller and lighter, but I'm not sure it's small enough for what you want.

I have no carpets in the house. All wood downstairs and laminate upstairs

I love my shark rocket. It's corded but a stick vacuum and great in my house as I have 3 lots of stairs to carry out up and down

Miele Classic C1 Junior PowerLine - Brilliant on carpets and hard floors. I have to turn the suction down unless I want to give my abs a work out. Moved to this after a Dyson and a Henry.

Shark portable hoover and I have the upright too, I also had a Henry for years and swore by it until I got the shark.

I had a Henry - hated it - sold it.
Then I got Dyson handheld - hated it even more - sold it.
Bought another Henry (I hate the little fucker, but at least he cleans)

Miele. I used a Henry at work and it was a nightmare. I prefer my Miele (turbo head if you have carpets is great).

Miele gets my vote too! I'd never buy cordless Dyson again, Henry still alive but doesn't compare to the Miele

I bought a corded shark, the one that folds over so you can fit it in a cupboard. Its lightweight but powerful (enough to pick up kitty litter which most lightweight dont). I bought it during the black Friday sales. The Dyson was a lot more expensive but didn't pick up the kitty litter at all, useless piece of crap.

Dyson V10 Animal. Excellent on both carpeted and wooden floor. I use it on the lowest power mode and it cleans very well. Battery lasts for about 50 minutes.
