Apologies as I am posting for traffic.

The gum over my partially erupted wisdom tooth got infected in oct and nov 2021. I had antibiotics twice.

It is not hurting again.

I have attached my xray from Oct 2021. Is the nerve too close to safely remove my wisdom tooth, would a coronoctomy be a better choice? Do you think it would be a simple extraction?

It is the lower jaw.

thats Ok! I voted anyway.

what did the dentist say and recommend?

I have had different dentists say different things.

One said just to remove the gum around the tooth. The other said to remove the whole tooth or maybe just the top of the tooth and leave the root.

That's why I posted, I don't know which is best.
