NC but regular poster.
I live on a new build development. Parking is allocated to each house and at a premium. No visitor spaces. Nearby residential roads are permit only.
Today I received a note through the door from the management company, informing us that Virgin Media will be installing cables in 2 days time, and that we won't be able to park our cars in our parking spaces or around the development.
I called the management company to ask where we should be parking, to be told that's for us to figure out.
For reference, there is nowhere within a 10 minute walk that we can park without getting a ticket. My parking spaces are on the deeds to my property, and so I assume Virgin won't be digging those up. I asked the management company if they could let me know exactly where Virgin were going to be digging so we could see if there was a workaround, but I was told they can't do that, and if we park in our spaces we will be blocked in for the entire duration of the works.
Not sure if this is an AIBU, but I genuinely have no idea what on earth we're meant to do for 4 days without being able to park nearby the house!
