Have Facebook Groups killed Parenting Forums?

I know mumsnet is still busy but I'm sure there used to be quite a few PF?
Are they less popular now that people can talk on Facebook and start groups etc?

It feels like most have been subsumed into Reddit. I do miss independent forums.

It's easier to set up a Facebook Group but everyone knows who you are.
I think there are more FB groups today than Forums.
