Cancel birthday party

The weather on Sunday where I am is looking like 34 degrees. Due to have a birthday party in a hall 😩 Would it be unreasonable to cancel? I don’t know what it is about sun in England that makes me lose my mind a bit?!

Assuming the hall doesn't have any kind of aircon/ ceiling fan etc it might be an idea to postpone to another week? Maybe call and speak to the caretaker and ask if the hall gets hot at the time of day you're using it? It might be that the sun doesn't come round that side of the building till the afternoon or something like that, in which case that might not be so bad?

Is it a daytime children's party?

And what do you have lined up for entertainment? Is it something that could easily be transferred to a (shady) park- outside of 11-3, if that wouldn't disrupt things too much?

If you have a garden is it possible to have a paddling pool party instead?
