To consider burning this?

Could not believe that Dh brought his grungiest, full of holes Tshirt on holiday.

He says it’s very comfortable which I’m not going to argue with but I thought he’d confine wearing it to the hotel room. But no, he wears it to breakfast and out and about the resort!

He doesn’t have a keen dress sense and is happy for me to buy his clothes of which he has more than enough smart casual.

To prevent it making its way to another holiday surely this deserves to go on the woodpile?

I wouldn't worry, you're hardly going to see anyone you know on your holidays. Grin

My teen son is the same though! Bites his T-shirts and insists he can still wear them even though He has about 14 decent ones with no holes etc in his wardrobe. 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you wouldn't be happy for your DH to go through your wardrobe and throw out things he didn't approve of then you should not do the same to him. He's an adult, not a child. If he has changed from someone who was particular about his clothes to someone who no longer cares or is generally a bit of a slob then I think you should talk to him about that.

I would take issue if the t shirt was dirty or your husband didn't pay attention to basic hygiene and grooming but otherwise I find a lack of concern for other people's opinions about appearance quite appealing.

Yeah, that would count as a respectable t-shirt amongst DH’s holey collection. He just doesn’t care.

sadly, I don’t think there’s anything you can do.

My DH will wear new t-shirts, but won’t buy them so it becomes yet another job on my list. His shorts have also ripped and don’t get me started on his pants…

Sorry, no advice, just solidarity!

This has made me chuckle, my Dad has a holiday t-shirt that comes out every year when we go away, we have baby photos of us with him in it, we are all in our 40's. It's fashionably questionable but it's him wearing it.

Happy for you to buy his clothes? I bet he is.
