BBQ Beef!

I'm with @StrangeCondition. It's got to be chicken and mushroom pot noodle. Although mine has to be with medium white bread warburtons bread and butter. Quite like the sticky rib one as well but favourite by far is chicken and mushroom

LaQuern · 11/07/2022 19:20

Chicken & mushroom or beef & tomato if we have a time machine to take me back to 1981 before they took all the lovely additives out.

Bombay bad boy if there's no time machine available

Sticky rib or Bombay bad boy. Cheap buttered white bread to dip in and don't use too much water when making them! All the others are gross to me- especially the chicken and mushroom!

I know what I'm having for dinner!

Clem_Fandango · 11/07/2022 19:38

Sweet and sour

Chicken and Mushroom although they were better before they took the additives out 🤣

I don't like mushrooms but I still say chicken and mushroom. Or Bombay bad boy.

I put too much water in then drink it like soup.

JimMorrisonsleathertrousers · 11/07/2022 20:01

Beef and Tomato.

It was my childhood Saturday lunch when my sister looked after me as mum and dad both at work. So much nostalgia attached to them.

Am craving one now!

heartbroken22 · 11/07/2022 20:05

None they all taste awful now.

TotalRhubarb · 11/07/2022 20:05

Beef and tomato, obvs!

Beef and tomato.

Does anybody remember they did Posh Noodles for a while? Early 2000s, I believe.

They were awesome. The noodles were finer and they had "posher" seasonings.

The best spin off they did was pot mash.

Curry mashed potato.

I loved it 😁

Pot Rice was alright.

hellosunshineagainx · 11/07/2022 20:43

I've found my people.
I love 'good' noodles too but there's something about a pot noodle and cheap bread and butter that is just perfecto.

Top flavours
Sweet and sour
Beef and tomato
Chicken and mushroom

Strugglingtodomybest · 11/07/2022 20:44

Chicken and mushroom definitely!

Fupa · 11/07/2022 20:46

Haven’t had one in years but Chicken & Mushroom with toasted soldiers dunked in the sauce.

Namechange546 · 11/07/2022 20:49

Beef and tomato with an extra squirt of ketchup.

But only the standard size. The large size ends up watery and horrible. I think its actually the same amount of noodles put in a bigger tub.

Fluffygreenslippers · 11/07/2022 20:51

Chicken & mushroom has always been my favourite. My quick noodles of choice however are maggi curry flavour.

I'm totally having that for lunch tomorrow!!

HelloCanYouHearMe · 11/07/2022 20:57

Sweet and sour or beef and tomato.

Both need to be left to get to that luke warm state of congealed loveliness

Yummmmmm

DeanStockwelll · 11/07/2022 20:58

Curry without a doubt,

Must be made right , very hot water till it only just covers noodles stand the pot in a bowl of hot water to keep them warm for 5 mins
Add lime pickle and decent mango chutney. Top up with a little more hot water but must still be very thick .

Godzillaandgodzuki · 11/07/2022 20:59

Sweet and Sour every time although v hard to get around here until they opened an Iceland food warehouse and now I have an endless supply, always less water than the fill line and sit for ten minutes and it's the best thing

TinaYouFatLard · 11/07/2022 21:03

Green! I lived on green pot noodles as a teenager. 14 year old DS loves them too - he just got a tray of them from Costco for his birthday!

It actually really pisses me off that they took out all the additives and salt. I mean if I want a healthy option I’m not going to choose a bloody Pot Noodle am I?

RaginaPhalange · 11/07/2022 21:05

Original curry. The Thai green curry one is also pretty good.

RicherThanYew · 11/07/2022 21:08

Chicken and mushroom is the best but since they ruined it by removing all the flavour, I've had to add a 1/4 of a stock cube, a pinch of s + p, and a teaspoon of MSG. Followed up with a Snickers. chefs kiss
Previous poster is right though, curry Super Noodles are by far superior.

Inanun2 · 11/07/2022 21:15

I was talking about pot noodles today as I have never had one and the person I was talking to said chicken and mushroom is-the best.
just checked online and the chicken is soya so is vegetarian - something to try for lunch at work when it’s not so hot !

Beef and tomato. Before the changed the recipe though

Yes, Beef and Tomato circa 1998. They took to much salt out, they taste totally different now 😞
