Been having a little tête-à-tête following another thread about teachers wanting to get out which turned into an argument about others wanting to get in and this is where we can't seem to agree. Need help deciding who's right while we're off to have lunch!
I've been told that you can get into teaching by doing an online Master's. So you could potentially be stationed in the Artic and become qualified to teach here. Are schools really hiring lawyers and bankers who did an online Master's? I understand there's a shortage but isn't this pushing the bar? As a parent I'm not sure I would be ok with an online degree with zero contact time with students.
AIBU: online is fine as long as the university's accredited.
AINBU: universities are desperate for money after Brexit and this is one more ridiculous way to cheat people out of money
