Why is every MumsNet thread like:

OP: "I like the colour yellow and don't like the colour green, any thoughts?"

Ms Too Important: “What does it matter!? Seriously get a life”

Ms Offended Mum: “As a parent of a kid who loves green, I find this post extremely offensive and dismissive towards my child’s favourite colour.”

Ms Repressed Anger: “OMG OP CANNOT BELIEVE YOU ARE GETTING WOUND UP ABOUT THIIS!!!!!!! …. TWAT.”

Ms Philosopher: “The question is OP, why do you like yellow and would you be open to like other colours? What defines colour anyway?”

Ms Eternal Victim: “Well, I like green and you are not better than us because you like yellow”

Ms Didn't Read The Post But Replies Anyway: “You don’t have to like yellow OP”

Ms Irrelevant: “Aldi sells pink shoes and I think they are lovely”

Right, hit me, which Ms you going to be today?

OP posts:

And at least yellow knows what a woman is. Let me bring this round to something JK Rowling said on Twitter once about the colour green.

Americano75 · 11/07/2022 00:14

Has anyone told you to get a grip yet? That's a classic.

VillanellesCoat · 11/07/2022 00:18

Antarcticant · 11/07/2022 00:21

user143677433 · 11/07/2022 00:32

It’s all about you isn’t it OP?

This is just typical of the “me” generation. Children are just spoiled by choices. Someone will be suggesting purple next!

CFs.

007DoubleOSeven · 11/07/2022 00:36

You're forgetting Ms LTB

TheCatOfAthenry · 11/07/2022 01:00

This is so offensive. I had a yellow once. I know your yellow tried to steal one of your lungs, but I’d give anything just to sit in silence with my yellow for 23 seconds.

Sparklingbrook · 11/07/2022 01:03

I’m nominating this for Classics. How about that?

007DoubleOSeven · 11/07/2022 01:13

Both are very middle class.

Carrotmum · 11/07/2022 01:23

I’m amazed that you accept you are picking yellow over green without managing to make it the fault of your MIL / your DP’s ex / Brexit or the Tory party.

007DoubleOSeven · 11/07/2022 01:26

@Carrotmum ffs it's got nothing to do with Brexit.

It's Boris' fault.

ItsAllCrappy · 11/07/2022 01:28

Is this a reverse?

Because autocorrect on some systems camelCases MumsNet ?

Why are so many user names nowadays not camelCased, which makes them harder to read?

I wouldn't mind the capital's, it's when my word corrector completely change s the words that's the pickle

ReeseWitherfork · 11/07/2022 01:35

Give your head a wobble OP.

P205 · 11/07/2022 01:44

You sound very young, OP. Are you?

xxcatcatcatxx · 11/07/2022 01:48
