What's happened to Mr Muscle

A particularly thrilling post but anyway... Used to use Mr Muscle (strictly buying when £1), then got fancy a few years ago and switched to Method. Realise that my house is dirtier than ever, especially bathroom - clearly it's the spray and not my slovenly housekeeping - but now can't ever find Mr Muscle in Tesco's. Was I the only person buying it or it just my Tesco that's stopped selling it and it's readily available elsewhere? Can anyone recommend decent kitchen/bathroom sprays?

mr muscle ruined my previous bathroom tiles would never use again

Think it was a bit stereotype..like only men have muscles to be able to do tough work etc etc. Bit of a dated image in this current day and age 🤷‍♀️

Interesting... The regular bathroom spray? How so? I wonder is this is why it's no longer for sale...

On that note…..I can’t find the dettol (i think it was?) floor spray - the spray and mop one …you just squirted it over the floor then used a wet mop .none in sainsburys or Asda today
Mr Muscle glass cleaner is good but a bottle lasts ages

I was wondering the same OP. The only thing that kept my quartz worktop clean and non smeary/greasy was Mr Muscle all purpose but haven't seen for some time and can't get hold of it for love nor money.
Zoflora cleaning spray dies an OK job but nothing was as good as the Mr Muscle :(

Yes! Only glass cleaner I felt worked and liked the smell. Hadn't considered the image thing. Happy if they rebrand I just want my glass cleaner back

Didn't they use a very slim man without much obvious muscle definition for the adverts? The tagline was something like 'Mr Muscle cleaner does the hard work so you don't have to'

Ah yeah you are right. I guess it’s still just a bit discriminatory anyways, skinny guys are pathetic and can’t clean etc 🤷‍♀️

I bought Mr Muscle kitchen cleaner in Tesco recently. They do a bathroom version too

butterfly990 · 10/07/2022 21:08

I use to my karcher vac on my granite worktops. I just use soapy water to clean them and then use my vac. Comes up a treat.

We still get Mr muscle. Only one we will use!
