Any tips, hints, YouTube videos podcasts etc pls?

Just been knocked back for a managerial job I had been covering previously for a few months. I have the degree, masters, management experience and meet all the criteria but fluffed the interview. My confidence is at rock bottom but I need to come back stronger and give my head a wobble.

I just cannot seem to get the ticks at interviews it's like all the golden words they are looking for I'm completely not getting-what is the secret please?

Any help would be gratefully received

Email your interviewing manager and ask for feedback. Last time i did this, i realised that the feedback was spot on about my weaknesses, and it meant that i was actively able to address those things.

Read through the job description again and again, because those are the "golden words" you need. It must be gutting to not get a job that you have actually been doing for several months, and i would question how supportive your managers are if this is the case. Will they be expecting you to train your replacement? If so, I would say its essential for you to have that tricky conversation with your current line manager, to make sure that you're not inadvertently passing on poor information to your new manager.
