Slipped disk? What’s wrong with my back?

Woke up in the middle of the night unable to move - a dull pain in my left back ribs, only painful when I tried to move. Been ok all day and now it’s come back on again! Same place, same pain - only painful when I move.

anyone else had this? Impossible to get a doctors appointment, especially on a weekend. AIBU to leave it and just hope it goes away? I’m a nurse, due back at work on Tuesday 😬

Hmm, probably isn’t a slipped disc - they are really nasty.

To be honest with you there isn’t an awful lot the doctor can (or will) do for bad backs in my experience. They can prescribe drugs to make it a bit more bearable. Horrible when it happens.
