To not want to sleep next to DH in the heat?

So my DH has got very upset with me this evening. I told him that I just can’t take sleeping next to him in the heat anymore! I suggested that I’ll happily sleep on the sofa so he gets the whole bed to himself. It’s a bit cooler downstairs as well and our sofa is very comfortable.

It’s not just that it’s unbearably hot, it’s that he starts to sweat quite a bit and the sweat very quickly turns into a rather unpleasant musk!

How do you deal with sleeping with partners in the heat?

Super king bed. Don’t even know if my husband’s in it or not half the time.

Just bought a new sofa bed to escape too

Separate beds.
Can't recommend it enough ( if you can)

I make sure the duvet cover (without the duvet in) is in between us so no part of my body touches his, like a barrier. Then we have a fan on. DP has bad night sweats sometimes, but I can't say I've ever noticed it smelling. Just means the bedding needs changing.

Separate rooms.

I was contemplating the exact same thing. DH is like a radiator in bed, it's awful in the heat. He gets offended too🙃then DS gets in at 2am and he takes after his dad so it can get too much. Our next bed will be a super king!

It’s his under carriage that gets a bit pungent. I’ve mentioned it to him before but he says he washes properly although given the stench I really doubt it!

Super king bed all the way. And a fan to the max.

Oh, yuk. I've never smelled dh's undercarriage - but what a turn-off. Ask him to shower right before bed?

He’s a morning showerer and won’t shower twice in a day even when it’s hot! Trust me I’ve tried!
