To just keep her off school

My 14 year old DD usually gets a bus home from school. For the last week she's had to wait 90 minutes for my DH to pick her up as the bus just isn't showing up.
I know there's a huge shortage of drivers at the moment so I know why the bus is cancelled (incredibly annoying that it's always her bus home that seems to get cancelled.
My husband isn't really supposed to use his van out of work hours so him picking her up isn't ideal but I can't as I'm working until 6
She's leaving the school at the end of term and we're just wondering if we should maybe just pull her out of school now as getting home is such a problem. I'd really welcome any suggestions on how she can get home from school safely.
YABU she should keep going to school
YANBU take her out of school now

How far away is it? I’m presuming too far or unsafe to start walking and DH meets her part way somewhere?
What are other parents doing for their dc? Anyone you could make an arrangement with if the bus doesn’t come?
If she’s leaving anyway and has nothing much going on that she wants to be there for I can see why it might be tempting to stop. Any risk of a fine now? Mine still have 8 days to go.
Its so frustrating, dd gets the bus and it hasn’t turned up on average once a week every week all year. No apology or explanation, luckily I’m often able to go and get her once the younger ones are out of school, but I also know a few other parents in the village and often we will help each other out.

What are other kids doing?

We have just had a 4 week bus strike here and thankfully found another parent nearby to coordinate lifts with.

We moved house in April, before that she was able to walk home but unfortunately we didn't have a choice.
The majority of the kids walk home or get a different bus to her. The other bus doesn't go near our house and I don't really know the other parents.
Unfortunately no family nearby that can help out.
