Fabric sofa plus cat and 5year old? Do I stick with leather? All the ones I love are fabric 😅

It depends on the cat

Mine leaves fabric alone but has left little puncture marks all over our pleather bar seats 🙄 so leather sofa would be a no no for us but it sounds like yours doesn’t claw leather?

If you get fabric I hugely recommend one with removable washable covers. And a mid colour with a slight texture hides a lot of marks (we have a mid grey herringbone sofa)

My current leather sofa has so far survived the cat. Sadly a few pen marks from kids

What @minipie said - 4 kids + dog in our household with fabric sofa and washable covers plus texture makes the difference.

I also don't allow pen or foods that stain near it

Keep a packet of Huggies wipes nearby for any marks asap. I sprayed my sofa arms with Impulse body spray! Dcats never went near!
