What age did you notice any signs and what were they?

What...? You think your daughter could ask where in context, and identify hair on a toy and a square at 11 months? Don't you think it could just have been a particular noise she made since they all sound similar?

@ObviouslyNotAFan

Many of our DCs could correctly identify & use single words much younger than 11 months & speak in full sentences very young too. (Mine was speaking fluently at 1yo) It's not unbelievable at all that this is correct

@RockinHorseShit the son I mentioned who could hold a conversation at 15 months, at eight months in hospital said to the nurse "Where's Adam gone?" She looked at me and said I could have sworn he's just said "where's Adam gone?" I said he did, he's asking for his brother Grin

Wow, well there you go then. Some truly unbelievable babies of mumsnetters!

@ObviouslyNotAFan Whilst my dc could talk none of them walked before eighteen months or were potty trained before three and my autistic son didn't speak until he was seven. I just got what I was given much like every other mother on MN.
