Not sure what to do...

Dd1's (13) friends mum posted on our local mums group that she needed a place urgently to stay for herself and 3 kids tonight. I saw it, texted her, and told her she could stay at ours as we are away on holiday and just to ask the neighbor for the key. She said thank you, confirmed she needed somewhere to stay, and that she needed to leave her DH as he is abusive "every type of abuse you can imagine other than physical". We (DH and I as well as others who know this family were also suspicious about sexual abuse of the daughter). Anyway, I've sent FIVE messages since with jo reply. DD sent a message and asked if they were still coming and friend said "I don't think so" but also confirmed that they were "picking up everything".

It's 11:24pm here. I haven't heard from the mum since 9, confirming they needed somewhere to stay.

What do I do? Assume safety? I've called, no answer.

You can probably call the police or the non emergency line and ask for advice. They'll probably do a welfare check or something.

Or just Google "what to do if you think your friend is being abused". I'm sure a police website with what to do would come up.

Even if I don't have a home address? I just have her mobile number.

If you have their phone number and name they'll be able to search up their address I'm sure it's all on some database.

The school will have to give the info. It's a SG concern
