For this to be driving me nuts?

DS is 2.5, for a long time has woken 6:30/7. I maintain my sanity by getting up at 5/5:30 and completing a yoga practice. I realise I'm so lucky that this worked and I got to set myself up for the day.

Except we've potty trained and now he's waking up for a wee 4:45/5:15, then isn't able to get back to sleep and won't be left. It shouldn't be a massive deal but I'm finding it really hard to not have a moment of calm at the beginning of the day andi don't think getting up by 4am is a workable solution!

Could your partner get up with him half the week so you can at least sleep in and do yoga at 5.30?

Randomness12 · 06/07/2022 07:36

What time is his last drink at night? I’d try pushing that back an hour and see if that helps?

girlmom21 · 06/07/2022 07:37

Well surely you just tell him it's still sleep time and that he needs to go back to bed? At 2.5 he can understand that.

Could you lift him when you go to bed so his bladder is less full?

My GC were put on their kindles at that time in the morning. This phase doesn't last long.

What time is he going to bed?
