Political situation..can someone explain

Sorry totally no interested in politics but things seem to be happening tonight...can someone explain what on earth is going on tonight...simple without being anti one side or whatever. Just facts. I didn't want to ask on Facebook as seem simple as I honestly been In baby and child bubble or world ive no idea.. I'm hoping others like me unknown what going on so me asking here can help others...

We have a totally dishonest prime minister who is treating the electorate like mugs.

Our current PM has been accused frequently in the past few months of lying.

He apologises and then gets caught again.

He's been given a FPN for having a party during lockdown.

Lots of other stuff.

There was a vote of no confidence called a few weeks ago and he won.

Now it's come out that the man "Pincher" who behaved sexually inappropriately towards people and resigned has done this before. A complaint against him was upheld year ago.

The government have changed their story about if they knew about the allegations consistently over the past few days - pretty much around the semantics of how they framed it.

This morning someone prominent in government released a public statement that the government were outright lying.

Now ministers are resigning quite quickly saying they can no longer support the PM and the 1922 committee are looking into whether another vote of no confidence can happen as usually you have to wait a year.

So in a nutshell people have had enough of our PM and the way he's running the country.

So we should get a new PM soon or they'll have a snap general election.

Javid and Sunak want rid of him, but both want a crack at the top job, so leave.
Gove and Patel would not get a job under anyone else so are showing support.

The PM is in trouble over appointing a known groper as Chief Whip. He falsely claimed he didn't know this. It was found that he did know. He demanded his party defend him. Initially they did. Now 2 key big players - the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Secretary of State for Health have resigned citing the PMs lack of honesty and integrity.

Tory MPs have been caught sexually harassing women, and watching porn. Then it turns out some men got groped so now two MPs have decided enough is enough, harassing women is fine, but when it happens to men too its time to resign and get serious about it.

Boris apologises for yet another misjudgement in appointing picker. If I was having to apologise for such constant screw ups from misjudgement I'd have been fired long ago

The PM knowingly appointed, into a senior position, a man who has committed sexual assault. When called out about it he lied and firstly said he didn't know, then claimed it was rumour and there were no formal complaints (there were) and then that he didn't remember. Many members of his party backed him and said he didn't know. Today proof that he did know was released to the public. Now 2 v senior members of his cabinet have resigned as they no longer have confidence in him.

As he recently won the vote of no confidence he should not have to face another vote for a year, however, it is likely that a few people will be looking for loophole to press for another vote.

Nothing is happening. Tomorrow morning Boris will still be PM. He will make some kind of statement or a speech in parliament. In 2030 he will still be PM. He has recently stated he wants to lead the party until the 30s

All complaints and criticism come to nothing

Some people are getting all excited that Johnson might resign or be pushed out as if that will change ANYTHING that has happened in the last few years, it wont change brexit and it wont mean that the UK suddenly achieves growth,, an economy to be proud of or protection of the vulnerable

We will simply get more of the same until people start voting differently but then people dont seem to want to vote differently despite all the rhetoric about the tories.

Yet still the masses vote tory. It's just incomprehensible to me! How are we so blind and stupid?
