Energy prices - ongoing fixed term contracts

AIBU to ask how many of you fixed your gas and electricity costs for two years, and still have a year to run on your contract? And get the £400 discount in October?

We fixed in September 2021 until September 2023 (thankfully with maternity leave this year!) Think the £400.00 credit is blanket regardless of your contract from what I understand

I fixed in June last year. I thought my contract was finished on 30th June, and couldn’t understand why I hadn’t heard from British Gas.

I checked my account online a couple of days ago, and found the good news!

I’d been putting extra money ready for winter. With the discount I’m now sorted until next spring.
