I think that may be a rat poo.

prepared101 · 05/07/2022 07:17

Eugh! It has just appeared on a windowsill. No sign of rodents in the house (we have a dog who would bark at them!) - fairly new build with no holes in the walls/concrete floors.

Never sleeping again

Rat dropping. It’s longer than mouse and curving is common.

HerRoyalHappiness · 05/07/2022 07:18

Yup looks like rat poo to me too.

User79865765 · 05/07/2022 07:28

Hmm, if it’s on a window sill I’d consider whether it’s actually a bird dropping that has dropped in off the window glass. Has the window been open.

PinkButtercups · 05/07/2022 07:36

That looks like bird poo to me.

PerseverancePays · 05/07/2022 07:37

Dead slug?

dudsville · 05/07/2022 07:39

I don't know. We used to have a book called "What Shat That" though, maybe there's a website that can identify it!

Oooh good call! I might change my opinion on it being rat poo now.

Footbal · 05/07/2022 08:24

My first thought was bird poo.

Dontgetmestarted65 · 05/07/2022 08:39

Bird poo. I had rats for years, don't remember any poo having white in them.

mumto3boysHE · 05/07/2022 08:42

Bird or bat if on a windowsill, more likely bird.

Bat!?! That's even worse than rat for me Shock

I'm moving!

Lol OP, sorry for your predicament but after a long day at work, thank you for making me laugh out loud with your "I'm moving" comment! x

BDeyes · 05/07/2022 20:47

Google lens it, but I'd say probably a rat dropping.

LouLou198 · 05/07/2022 20:52

Looks like a dead dried up slug to me!
