So confused

Everything seemed fine. He text me around 24 hours ago calling me baby etc but I’ve not heard from him since. He read my reply but has not responded. He has been online since. I sent another message just to check he was ok but he hasn’t read it. Have I been ghosted?

A bit U of you to be questioning that after only 24 hours which I half suspect makes this a wind up.

He could be busy/be dealing with other things etc. If you haven't heard anything by the weekend (depending on the length of the relationship) then I'd say likely, but he may be in touch over the next couple of days

Thank you. This isn’t a wind up but I’m confused because we normally stay in contact and this hasn’t happened before. He’s been online so will have known the message was there but hasn’t replied

24hrs is maybe a bit soon to decide if you've been ghosted. Give it a little more time, see if he gets back in touch with a good reason. If not then you've had a lucky escape.
