Hummimg noise

so I know the street lights have been changed and since that and open reach doing work with wiring under ground, iv noticed a humming now that is driving me insane. This isn't just a noise its hazardous to our health and the environment because were told its tinnitus but its not its radiation. And its dangerous and over time its going to make us ill . This is been going on for 4 months now,

I didn't know radiation hummed..

Hi @Thehum I am a bit confused by your post (the humming radiation etc).

Could I ask what you're expecting from posting in AIBU - are you hoping folk will chime in with similar experiences? Or advise on what to do next?

It's clearly dodgy cabling. Just report it.

Who told you it was tinnitus? Can others hear it?

If they have installed electric charge points into the lamp posts they can hum (no dangers other than irritating noise)

Radiation doesn't hum OP.

Yes the noise is irritating but you will get used to it. It's not going to hurt you.
